REFLEXOLOGY

REFLEXOLOGY

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient natural therapy, which uses subtle energies of the feet to balance and harmonise, so that health and well being can be attained and maintained.

All the internal body structures and organs are mapped or mirrored in miniature on the feet and by using specific techniques of holds and pressures on these areas, healing is both initiated and accelerated in the corresponding area of the body.

The feet are divided into ten equal and vertical zones and when pressure is applied on one part of a zone, it can affect other areas and organs in the same zone.

Initial treatment takes about 1½ hours, allowing time for a consultation and all subsequent treatments are approximately 1 hour. The consultation is very important, as this is part of the holistic nature of the treatment, taking into account the mind, body and spirit.
