Homeopathy

Homeopathy is an effective and safe system of healing, which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself.  It recognises that the symptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person, and that it is the person who needs treatment, not only the disease.

Remedies are chosen for the needs of each individual person, and are not prescribed routinely.  Every patient is treated holistically - both emotional and physical symptoms are evaluated, and a homeopathic remedy is prescribed in liquid, powder or tablet form which is pleasant to take, and will not interfere with any other medication you may be taking.  Homeopathy is safe for all ages, and tiny granules are available for the treatment of young babies.  

The first consultation usually involves the homeopath collecting a lot of information from the patient. This is in order to build up a picture of their personality and general health, as well as discussing the presenting complaint and helps the homeopath to select the appropriate remedies. Tissue salts and flower essences may be used as a support to the remedies. Confidentiality is of great importance at all times.
