STRUCTURAL PRACTITIONER

My career in mind-body health has spanned over 15 years since I trained as a psychotherapist and counsellor.

I began bodywork in 1989 as a therapeutic masseur. I then trained at the Academy of On-Site Massage UK, subsequently taking further qualification trainings in Shiatsu, Tuina & Anma (all Oriental Acupressure therapies).

I am a qualified practitioner in Structural Integration, having completed Tom Myers' Kinesis training in Boston, USA.

Whilst Structural Integration is appropriate for a wide range of conditions including injuries from repetitive strain, sport, industrial or traffic accident, it is also highly suitable for postural imbalances that arise from "life" experience: I tend to focus on these psycho-somatic aspects of the human condition.
